On July 30, 2018, Assistant Foreign Minister Chen Xiaodong attended the reception marking the 19th anniversary of King Mohammed VI's accession to the throne of Morocco (the National Day) held by the Moroccan Embassy in China upon invitation, during which he exchanged views with Moroccan Ambassador to China Aziz Mekouar on China-Morocco relations and topics of common interest.
