On November 28, 2018, Assistant Foreign Minister Chen Xiaodong held a group meeting with diplomatic envoys of the Arab States to China and Director of the Arab League Representative Office in China.

Chen Xiaodong reviewed the fruitful outcomes of China-Arab States cooperation in various fields in 2018 and thanked diplomatic envoys of the Arab States for their positive contributions in this regard. Chen Xiaodong expressed that the Chinese side is willing to, together with the Arab side, well implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important speech at the 8th Ministerial Meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF) and the outcomes of the CASCF Ministerial Meeting, so as to promote China-Arab States relations for greater development.
