From December 8 to 11, 2018, Ambassador for China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF) Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Li Chengwen visited Egypt and the headquarters of the League of Arab States (LAS). Li Chengwen respectively met with Assistant Foreign Minister and Permanent Representative of Egypt to the LAS Atawy and LAS Assistant Secretary-General for International Political Affairs Khalid Al Habas, and exchanged views on such topics as China-Egypt relations, China-Arab States relations, the building of the CASCF and regional situation. H.E. Song Aiguo, Chinese Ambassador to Egypt, and others attended the above activities.

During the visit, Li Chengwen also communicated with experts and scholars from the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs.
