On March 28, 2019, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Middle East Issue Gong Xiaosheng visited Israel, during which he met with Head of the Center for Policy Research in the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs David Akov and President of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs Dore Gold, exchanging views on the Middle East peace process and other issues.
