On April 28, 2019, Director-General of Department of Consular Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Cui Aimin and Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mansour Abdel Kareem Al Faheem of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) held the second round of China-UAE consular consultation in Beijing. The two sides spoke positively of the arrangement for mutual exemption of visas and exchanged in-depth views on such topics as promoting consular cooperation, facilitating personnel exchanges and safeguarding the safety and lawful rights and interests of citizens.
