Xi Jinping Sends Messages of Condolence to President Vladimir Alexandrovich Zelensky of Ukraine and President Hassan Rouhani of Iran Respectively over the Crash of a Ukrainian Passenger Plane

On January 9, 2020, President Xi Jinping sent messages of condolence to President Vladimir Alexandrovich Zelensky of Ukraine and President Hassan Rouhani of Iran respectively over the crash of a Ukrainian passenger plane in Tehran.

In his messages, Xi Jinping said, I was shocked to learn about the crash of the Ukrainian passenger plane in Tehran, which killed all passengers and crew members on board. On behalf of the Chinese government and the Chinese people, and in my own name, I express deep sympathies to all the victims and offer sincere condolences to the bereaved families.
