Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin Has a Group Meeting with Diplomatic Envoys of GCC Countries in China

On July 4, 2025, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin had a group meeting with the diplomatic envoys of the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in China.

Liu Bin said that in recent years, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and leaders of GCC countries, China-GCC relations have gained strong momentum of development, with fruitful cooperation in various fields. China has always attached great importance to its relations with the GCC and is ready to work with the GCC to further enhance political mutual trust, seek deeper integration and mutual enhancement of development strategies, expand the breadth and depth of cooperation between China and the GCC, and continuously enrich the China-GCC strategic partnership.

The diplomatic envoys of the GCC countries in China said that the GCC attaches great importance to developing relations with China, abides by the one-China principle, and is ready to work with China to deliver on the outcomes of the first GCC-China Summit and the GCC-China-ASEAN Summit, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, maintain coordination and cooperation on international and regional affairs, and promote greater development of GCC-China relations.
