On November 4, 12, and 13, 2025, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong, upon request, met separately with Ambassador of Türkiye to China Selcuk Unal, Director for Asia and Pacific at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the UK Dan Chugg, and Ambassador of Australia to China Scott Dewar. They engaged in candid and in-depth exchanges of views on regional affairs in Asia and relevant hotspot issues. Liu introduced the relations of the model of security for Asia and the 15th Five-Year Plan with regional cooperation in Asia, and elaborated on China's neighborhood diplomacy and its firm position on safeguarding sovereignty, security, and development interests.
