On September 14, 2024, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong met with Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Dato' Sri Amran Mohamed Zin. The two sides had a friendly and in-depth exchange of views on the bilateral relationship between China and Malaysia as well as regional cooperation matters.
