On July 11, 2025, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong met with Pakistani Ambassador to China Khalil-ur-Rahman Hashmi at the latter's request. The two sides had a friendly and in-depth exchange of views on China-Pakistan relations and international and regional issues of common interest and concern.
