On August 26, 2025, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong met with Malaysian Ambassador to China Norman Bin Muhamad. The two sides had an in-depth and friendly exchange of views on matters related to implementing the common understandings reached by the leaders of the two countries and building a high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future.
