Wu Peng said, focusing on Africa's most pressing needs and concerns, China and Africa will put priority on promoting cooperation in fields such as vaccines, trade, financing and investment, poverty reduction, people's welfare and digital innovation, so as to implement the "nine programs" in a better and faster way and upgrade the China-Africa cooperation for sustainable development.

Wu Peng hopes that the participating experts will put forward feasible and practical opinions and suggestions based on the research results and work practices in their respective fields, strengthen the promotion of the forum results, tell the stories of China-Africa friendship, and enhance understanding and recognition.

This year's Forum on China and International Development, with the theme of "New Era of China-Africa Development, Journey to All-Round Cooperation", was hosted by the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce via video link.
