On the morning of December 5, 2022, ambassadors of Cuba, Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Panama, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Barbados and the Bahamas to China, Chargés d'affaires a.i. or senior diplomats of embassies of Costa Rica, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay and Suriname in China, and the representative of the Commercial Development Office of Haiti to China, among others, went to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to mourn Comrade Jiang Zemin. They left messages on the condolence book, expressed deep condolences over the passing of Comrade Jiang Zemin, and spoke highly of Comrade Jiang Zemin’s outstanding contributions to advancing China's economic and social development and progress as well as promoting China’s relations with countries in the region.
