On October 24, 2023, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs Wang Yi attended the opening ceremony of the International Symposium to Commemorate the 10th Anniversary of China's Principle of Amity, Sincerity, Mutual Benefit and Inclusiveness in Neighborhood Diplomacy in Beijing.

Wang Yi said, "inclusiveness" in the Principle of Amity, Sincerity, Mutual Benefit and Inclusiveness is how we cooperate, and has enabled new developments in regional integration. The ocean is vast because it admits all rivers. Over the past decade, with an open mind, China has facilitated regional cooperation, practiced true multilateralism, and fostered an open rather than exclusive "circle of friends." With the concerted efforts of all parties, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization has grown into a comprehensive regional cooperation organization that boasts the world's largest land and population coverage. China has firmly supported ASEAN centrality in regional architecture, actively advanced cooperation under the frameworks of East Asia cooperation, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia, initiated the China-Central Asia Summit, the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation, pushed for in-depth development of China-Japan-ROK cooperation, held the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations and put in place multitiered and cross-sectoral cooperation platforms. To promote cooperation with neighboring countries of all directions, China has created one after another remarkable cooperation brand names such as the China-ASEAN Expo, Western China International Fair, and China-South Asia Expo.
