China deeply empathizes with the special concerns of small island nations like the Cook Islands on the climate change issue, and is ready to work with the Cook Islands to uphold the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities, and jointly build a fair and equitable global climate governance system for win-win cooperation. Wang Yi said he looks forward to the Third China-Pacific Island Countries Foreign Ministers' Meeting sending out a message of unity and cooperation.
