Despite great changes in the international landscape, China stays true to the original aspiration of establishing diplomatic relations, which is characterized by mutual respect, equality, mutual benefit, and win-win cooperation. China cherishes the traditional friendship with Ukraine and continues to promote bilateral cooperation in various fields. Last year, China-Ukraine trade grew steadily, with China remaining as Ukraine's largest trading partner and the largest source of imports. Sub-committee meetings of the intergovernmental cooperation committee between the two countries have been held successively, bringing benefits to both peoples. China-Ukraine relations should stay on the right course and maintain stable and sound development. China is ready to provide new humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and hopes that the Ukrainian side will continue to ensure the safety of Chinese personnel and institutions in Ukraine.

Wang Yi said that recently, various dialogues related to the Ukraine crisis have been intensively advancing, which is encouraging. China's position has been consistent, always taking the four points proposed by President Xi Jinping on what must be done as the fundamental guideline. China remains objective and impartial and actively promotes peace talks. China is ready to maintain communication with Ukraine and work with the international community to play a constructive role in the early political settlement of the crisis.

Andrii Sybiha stated that Ukraine and China enjoy a traditional friendship and are important strategic partners. China is a major country with significant international influence, and Ukraine attaches great importance to developing relations with China. Describing China as Ukraine's largest trading partner, he said there is huge potential for bilateral cooperation. Ukraine adheres to the one-China principle and will take concrete measures to ensure the safety and legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens and enterprises in Ukraine. Ukraine appreciates China's consistent respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries and its active efforts in promoting peace talks. The war in Ukraine should come to an end. He expressed the expectation that China will play an important role in achieving an early ceasefire and comprehensive peace.
