The Chinese side pays high attention to what has been lately released by the Malaysian government about Flight MH370 of Malaysia Airlines. We call on the Malaysian side to continue to provide China with information that is more comprehensive and accurate. Chinese technical experts have left for Malaysia to assist with the investigation. We will also contact relevant countries and international organizations so as to learn about and assess the information.

Eight days have passed since Flight MH370 of Malaysia Airlines went missing. The whereabout of the flight is still unknown. Time is life. We urge the Malaysian side to further expand and define the search and step up search efforts in accordance with the latest developments. We also ask the Malaysian side to call for more countries' participation in the search operation. The Chinese side will also make timely adjustment to the search plan and request assistance from countries that may be covered in the search.
