Q: On the afternoon of December 16, the Pakistani Taliban gunmen attacked a school in Peshawar, Pakistan, killing 126 people, including 84 kids and injuring dozens. What is China's comment on that?

A: We are deeply shocked at and saddened by the incident. We condemn in the strongest terms the terrorist attack. The Chinese side expresses deep condolences to the victims and conveys heartfelt sympathy to the injured and the bereaved families. China opposes all forms of terrorism and will stand firmly with the Pakistani government and people in their unremitting efforts to fight against terrorism and safeguard stability of the country and security of the people.
