Q: On the night of September 2, a terrorist attack happened in the city of Davao in the Philippines, killing at least 14 people and injuring 71. What is your comment?

A: We are deeply shocked by this terrorist attack in Davao, the Philippines. We want to express our grave condolences to the victims and sincere sympathies to the injured and the bereaved families. China firmly opposes all forms of terrorism and believes that the Philippine government, under the leadership of President Duterte, will take measures needed to restore Davao to its normal state at an early state.
