On March 27, 2023, Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng met at request with Chairman and CEO of Blackstone Stephen A. Schwarzman. The two sides exchanged views on China-US relations, and issues of mutual interest and concern.

Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng briefed on China’s “two sessions”, elaborated on China’s principled positions on China-US relations and related issues, and encouraged the US side to continue to leverage the important role of Schwarzman College and Schwarzman Scholars as a bridge, to play a bigger and more active role in increasing mutual understanding and friendship between the people of the two countries and bringing China-US relations back on the right track.
