On September 1, 2023, Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Wu Xi met with Ambassador of Jordan to China Hussam Al Husseini at the latter's request. The two sides had an exchange of views on deepening cooperation in consular affairs, and improving the facilitation of personnel exchanges, among others.
