At the invitation of the Egyptian government, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Middle East Issue Zhai Jun will attend the summit on the Palestinian question held in Cairo. China is ready to work with the international community to make unremitting efforts to ease the current tension between Palestine and Israel, promote a ceasefire and an end to the fighting, avoid humanitarian disasters, and resume talks for peace.
