On February 28, 2024, Director-General of the Department of Arms Control of the Foreign Ministry Sun Xiaobo held a new round of consultations on arms control and non-proliferation with Head of the International Security Division at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Gabriel Luechinger in Bern. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on the international security situation, multilateral arms control process and other issues of mutual interest and concern.

Before the consultations, Sun Xiaobo met with Deputy State Secretary and Head of the UN Division of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Thomas Guerber.
