The Secretariat of Cooperation between China and CEEC Holds a Briefing to CEEC Embassies in China

On September 20, 2024, the Secretariat of Cooperation between China and the Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) held a briefing to the CEEC embassies in China. Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for China-CEEC Cooperation Affairs Ambassador Jiang Yu presided over the meeting, which was attended by diplomatic envoys or representatives of CEEC in China as well as representatives from the Department of International Cooperation of the General Administration of Customs.

Special Representative Jiang Yu briefed all parties on the progress made in various fields of cooperation between China and CEEC ("Cooperation") since the beginning of this year and the important institutional activities planned for the next stage. She noted that the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has made systematic arrangements for further deepening reform comprehensively to advance Chinese modernization. This provides new opportunities for deepening cooperation between China and CEEC. She expressed the hope that all parties will make good use of the resources of "Cooperation" to achieve common development.

All parties attending the meeting fully acknowledged the sound development momentum of "Cooperation" in recent years and spoke positively of the work of the Secretariat. They expressed their willingness to work with the Chinese side to jointly organize the activities in the next stage and continuously deepen and solidify "Cooperation".
