From October 18 to 19, 2024, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on European Affairs Wu Hongbo visited Greenland of Denmark and met with Prime Minister of the Greenland Government Múte B. Egede. The two sides had an exchange of views on China-Greenland cooperation in economy, trade, tourism, culture and other fields. Minister Counselor Qin Jie at the Chinese Embassy in Denmark, among others, was present.

During his stay in Greenland, Special Representative Wu Hongbo also visited Royal Greenland A/S and Polar Seafood Greenland A/S.
