On October 17, 2024, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Latin American Affairs Qiu Xiaoqi, upon invitation, attended and addressed the Argentina Day activity held by the Embassy of Argentina in China.

Qiu Xiaoqi said that since the establishment of China-Argentina diplomatic relations more than half a century ago, bilateral relations have continued to develop and cooperation in various fields has achieved fruitful results.
