On October 28, 2024, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Eurasian Affairs Li Hui met with Special Representative of the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General for Central Asia and Head of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia Kaha Imnadze in Beijing. The two sides had an exchange of views on the situation in Central Asia and the Afghan issue.
