On February 10, 2025, Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu and Brazilian Secretary-General of Foreign Affairs Maria Laura da Rocha held China-Brazil diplomatic strategic consultations in Beijing.

The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on China-Brazil relations, China's relations with Latin American and Caribbean countries, the current international situation, and major international and regional issues, among others.
