On May 21, 2025, the 20th Senior Officials' Meeting and the 9th Senior Official Level Strategic Political Dialogue of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF) were held in Rabat, Morocco. The meetings were co-chaired by Chen Weiqing, Secretary-General of the Chinese side of the CASCF and Director-General of the Department of West Asian and North African Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, and Omar Kadiri, Chairman of the Arab side and Director of Asian and Oceania Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of Morocco. Representatives from the member units of the Chinese Secretariat of the CASCF, Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Khaled Manzalawi, and officials in charge from 22 Arab countries attended the meetings.

Both sides reviewed the progress in the implementation of the outcomes of the first China-Arab States Summit and the 10th Ministerial Conference of the CASCF, communicated on China-Arab cooperation and the development of the CASCF, and exchanged views on international and regional issues of common interest and concern. The meetings adopted an outcome document.
