The Vice Foreign Minister-Level Consultation on the Preparations for the Second China-Central Asia Summit Held in Beijing

On May 24, 2025, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin and Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Alibek Bakayev co-chaired the Vice Foreign Minister-Level Consultation on the China-Central Asia Summit in Beijing. Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Meder Abakirov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Kurbanov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov, and Tajik Ambassador to China Saidzoda Zohir attended the consultation.

All parties discussed the preparations for the second China-Central Asia Summit, cooperation in key areas, and the building of the China-Central Asia mechanism.

Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin held separate bilateral meetings with the deputy foreign ministers of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, during which they had exchanges of views on bilateral relations, cooperation in various fields, and other matters.
