On June 5, 2025, Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong met with Indian Ambassador to China Pradeep Kumar Rawat. The two sides expressed their commitment to jointly implementing the important common understandings reached between the leaders of both countries, promoting people-to-people and cultural exchanges and mutually beneficial cooperation, properly managing differences, and advancing China-India relations along a sound and stable track. The two sides also had an exchange of views on other issues of common interest and concern.
