Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin Attends Belarus' Independence Day Reception

On July 2, 2025, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin, upon invitation, attended the reception hosted by the Embassy of Belarus in China to celebrate Belarus' Independence Day.

Liu Bin extended congratulations on Belarus' Independence Day and noted that under the strategic planning and guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Aleksandr Lukashenko, China-Belarus relations have entered a "fast lane" of development, reaching a historic high as an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership, and setting a fine example of mutual respect, mutual trust, and win-win cooperation between countries. China is ready to make joint efforts with Belarus to take the important common understandings reached between the two heads of state as the fundamental guideline, carry forward the traditional friendship, continuously consolidate mutual trust, and comprehensively deepen cooperation across various fields, so as to better contribute to the development and rejuvenation of both countries and bring benefits to the two peoples.

Belarusian Ambassador to China Charviakou Aliaksandr said that not long ago, President Aleksandr Lukashenko successfully paid an informal visit to China, during which the two heads of state mapped out a new blueprint for the development of bilateral relations. Belarus will abide by the one-China principle and will continue to support China on the Taiwan question and issues related to Xinjiang, Xizang, and Hong Kong. Belarus is willing to work with China to deepen Belt and Road cooperation, strengthen international coordination, and continuously advance the development of bilateral relations.
