On July 24, 2025, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong visited the Embassy of Bangladesh in China to mourn the victims of the Bangladesh plane crash and left a message in the condolence book. On behalf of the Chinese side, he expressed deep condolences to the victims, extended sincere sympathies to the bereaved families and the injured, and wished the injured a speedy recovery. Liu said that at the request of the Bangladeshi side, Chinese and Bangladeshi medical experts had already carried out remote video consultations. A Chinese medical expert team will soon travel to Bangladesh to assist in treating the injured. The two sides can further strengthen cooperation in emergency rescue and other areas in the next stage.
