On August 1, 2025, Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong, upon invitation, attended the reception hosted by the Embassy of Singapore in China for the 60th National Day of the Republic of Singapore and Singapore Armed Forces Day,and had a friendly exchange with Ambassador of Singapore to China Tan Hai Chuan on China-Singapore relations.
