Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin Meets with Outgoing Ambassador of Lebanon to China Milia Jabbour

On August 6, 2025, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin met with outgoing Ambassador of Lebanon to China Milia Jabbour.

Liu Bin stated that in recent years, under the joint guidance of the leaders of both countries, China-Lebanon relations have maintained sound and stable development, with continuous deepening of political mutual trust, steady progress in practical cooperation, and good communication on regional situations. The Chinese side appreciates the extensive work done by Ambassador Milia Jabbour in this regard and hopes that Ambassador Milia Jabbour will continue to care for and support the development of China-Lebanon and China-Arab relations after leaving office.

Milia Jabbour thanked the Chinese side for its strong support during her tenure in China, stating that over the past nearly eight years of work in China, she has witnessed the great development achievements China has made and the steady growth in China-Lebanon relations. Lebanon attaches great importance to developing relations with China and is willing to strengthen friendly cooperation with China. She hopes that China will continue to uphold justice on hotspot issues in the Middle East, such as the Lebanon-Israel and Palestine-Israel conflicts.
