From November 19 to 21, 2025, Ambassador Chen Guoyou, Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for China-CEEC Cooperation Affairs, visited Albania, where he met separately with the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of Albania, the Political Advisor to the Prime Minister, and other senior government and parliamentary officials, and also held talks with the Secretary-General of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. During the visit, Special Representative Chen briefed the Albanian side on the guiding principles of the fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and China's development experience. The two sides exchanged views on deepening China-CEEC cooperation to empower the development of China-Albania relations, as well as international and regional issues of common concern.
