From November 17 to 19, 2025, Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for China-CEEC Cooperation Affairs Ambassador Chen Guoyou visited Greece, during which he met separately with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, who also serves as the National Coordinator for China-CEEC Cooperation, as well as the Chair and Vice Chair of the Greece-China Friendship Group of the Hellenic Parliament. He also held talks with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism of Greece. The two sides had in-depth exchanges of views on leveraging China-CEEC cooperation to advance the development of China-Greece relations and China-EU relations. During the visit, Special Representative Chen also inspected the Port of Piraeus and held discussions with the port authority's management team.
