On February 9, 2026, Ambassador for the Affairs of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Liu Yuxi met with Ambassador of Egypt to China Khaled Nazmy. Both sides had an exchange of views on the "China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges", bilateral relations, and international and regional issues of common concern.
