On March 23, 2026, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong met with Minister Yuh Pok-keun, newly-appointed Deputy Chief of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, China. The two sides exchanged views on China-ROK relations and issues of common concern. Both sides agreed to earnestly implement the important common understandings reached by the heads of state of the two countries, maintain close communication, and promote the steady development of China-ROK strategic cooperative partnership.
