On April 23, 2026, Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu and New Zealand’s Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Trade Bede Corry co-chaired a new round of China-New Zealand foreign policy consultations in Beijing. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on China-New Zealand relations and international and regional issues of mutual concern.
