Ambassador Chen Xu, Chair of the 2026 APEC Senior Officials’ Meeting, Wu Meng, Director-General of the International Cooperation Department of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Liu Chenyang, Director of the APEC Study Center at Nankai University, and Zhang Jianping, Deputy Director of the Academic Committee of the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce, attended the briefing as guests. Other guests introduced the business sector’s participation in APEC cooperation, shared suggestions on deepening regional economic integration, and expressed their expectations for the APEC “China Year”.
