On October 22, 2026, Assistant Foreign Minister and Director-General of the Protocol Department of the Foreign Ministry Hong Lei accepted respectively the copies of credentials presented by newly-appointed Ambassador of Pakistan to China Ali Asad, and newly-appointed Ambassador of Malawi to China Gray Nyandule Phiri, who arrived in China on September 30 and October 9 respectively.
