President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Zheng Xuan (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Mozambique, replacing Wang Hejun.

II. Gao Wenqi was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Rwanda, replacing Wang Xuekun.

III. Wang Min (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Togo, replacing Chao Weidong.

IV. Jiang Feng was appointed Head of Mission and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the African Union, replacing Hu Changchun.

Ⅴ. An Qing (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of the Congo.

VI. Chen Daojiang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the United Mexican States, replacing Zhang Run.

VII. Chen Chuandong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Lebanese Republic, replacing Qian Minjian.

VIII. Qian Minjian was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Swiss Confederation, replacing Wang Shiting.
