President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Xu Yong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Cameroon, replacing Wang Yingwu.

II. Sun Yong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Guinea, replacing Huang Wei.

III. Zhang Yang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Cabo Verde, replacing Xu Jie.

IV. Huang Zheng was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Union of the Comoros, replacing Guo Zhijun.

V. Guo Zhijun was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Tajikistan, replacing Ji Shumin.

VI. Ji Shumin was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Turkmenistan, replacing Qian Naicheng.

VII. Zhao Deyong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Burkina Faso, replacing Lu Shan.

VIII. Wang Jinfeng was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Jamaica, replacing Chen Daojiang.

IX. Zheng Bingkai was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Barbados, replacing Yan Xiusheng.

X. Zhang Jianwei was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Thailand, replacing Han Zhiqiang.
