On 23 June, H. E. Ambassador-designate Xiao Ji anguo went to the Embassy of Timor-Leste in Brunei to mourn the passing of H.E. Isabel da Costa Ferreira, wife of the Prime Minister of Timor-Leste. Ambassador Xiao left message on the condolence book, praising Ms. Isabel’s contribution to the country and people of Timor-Leste during her lifetime, extending gratitude for her contribution to the development of friendship between China and Timor-Leste, and expressing condolences to her husband, Prime Minister Luak.
