On 15th December, 2023, H.E. Ambassador Xiao Jianguo attended the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Wushu Federation of Brunei Darussalam. Yang Mulia Pg. Amirrizal, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Mr. Lau How Teck, member of the Legislative Council of Brunei, Pehin Goh King Chin, leader of the local Chinese community, Mr. Lim Boon Hua, President of the Wushu Federation, Dr. Muhammad Firdaus, Deputy President of the Federation, and coaches, athletes and their family members, members of the Federation as well as sponsors, media friends attended the ceremony. Ambassador Xiao commended the contribution made by the Federation in promoting Chinese martial arts and culture, congratulated the Brunei National Wushu Team on their remarkable achievement in regional and international Games and expressed the willingness to enhance cooperation with the Federation to make more contributions to China-Brunei people-to-people friendship in the future.
