On July 16, Chinese Ambassador to Jordan Chen Chuandong met with Jordanian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Markram Queisi to exchange views on promoting tourism cooperation between China and Jordan. Counselor from Chinese Embassy Ms. Shi Wei was present.  

Ambassador Chen said that there is huge potential for exchanges and cooperation between China and Jordan in the field of tourism, and China is willing to further strengthen practical cooperation between the two sides, promote the integration of culture and tourism, facilitate personnel exchanges and enhance people-to-people exchanges.  

Minister Queisi said that Jordan attaches importance to China's tourism market, welcomes more Chinese tourists to Jordan and hopes to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China in archaeology, cultural relic restoration, scenic area facilities and personnel training.
