Chinese Ambassador to Ireland He Xiangdong Meets with Minister Eamon Ryan

On 25th July 2024, Ambassador He Xiangdong met with Minister for Environment, Climate and Communications and Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan at Department of Transport.

Ambassador He highlighted the current positive momentum of China-Ireland cooperation in green development and green transition and praised Minister Ryan for his important role in pushing forward green development. The ambassador said that China is willing to deepen its cooperation with Ireland in clean energy, sustainable development, and tackling climate change.

Minister Ryan said that China is a major producer of clean energy equipment and has good technology in clean energy sector. Ireland looks forward to further cooperation with China in green transition, reducing carbon emissions and promoting energy efficiency.
