Chinese Consul General in Brisbane Ruan Zongze Delivers a Lecture Titled "New Asia-Pacific New Narrative" at Bond University

On 24 July 2024, Consul-General Dr Ruan Zongze delivered a lecture titled "New Asia-Pacific, New Narrative" at the school of Society & Design at Bond University. The event was hosted by the Dean of the school of Society & Design Professor Derek Carson and attended by the Director of International Relations Dr Mark Dinnen, the Director of International Affairs Lisa Cowan , vice consul Shi Wenhua, Sun Ruoxi ,as well as nearly forty students and staff.

Dr Ruan provided an in-depth analysis of Asia-Pacific relations, emphasized on building a community with a shared future for mankind. He also identified significant opportunities for China and Australia to engage in bilateral as well as multilateral cooperations and exchanges. Dr Ruan also answered questions from the audience about how to manage China-Australia differences and possible cooperation in the field of medical and health .The audience found the lecture to be highly insightful.
