On 19 August, The 6th Forum on China-Africa Media Cooperation was opened in Beijing. Before the opening, H.E. Wang Yu, Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, met in Mogadishu with H.E. Daud Aweis Jama, Somali Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, who would attend the event. Both exchanged views on strengthening China-Somalia traditional friendship and cooperation between two countries in areas such as radio, television and online audio-visual media.
